Vancouver Trip

After an exhausting period of Christmas rush orders, my family flew to Vancouver for Christmas holidays. We spent 10 days there, visiting family and friends, sightseeing, and shopping. The Vancouver weather was much milder than Toronto at this time of year. Vancouver is a beautiful city with great mountain views, but also known for alot of rain. We were fortunate that it was only rained for 3 out of the 10 days we were there. It was a nice getaway from the cold and snow in Toronto.

The Richmond Olympic Oval-The Winter Olympics are coming in February.

Granville Island was a highlight. This large marketplace features many unique artisans and giftshops.

I love shopping...can you tell? Lol. Notice my Tethys interchangeable bag http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=33295123

Lots and lots of fresh fruits and vegetable. Some are exotic fruits from Asia. Hum... I wonder how the vendor will handle this paramid pile of cherries and strawberries when someone is buying them? Ha!

Sitting down for a nice cup of coffee while waiting for my dessert. :)
